Everyone has a hot take these days. Below are my super-duper piping hot takes on things I think you should know about me in a creative environment.
🔥Comedy - Big fan. I think it's the best way to connect with a human in the wild and also an audience in advertising.
🔥AI- Hesitant adopter. It’s very scary, flawed and potentially harmful on many levels, but its also not going away and so I try my best to understand how it works and how it might be used to help make better creative. I also think it will probably kill us one day.
🔥Feedback - Learning to love it. It can be a gift. I’m always open to it and genuinely think it can make the work better. When I give it, I try to be concise and constructive and hopefully avoid corporate buzzwords that make ears bleed.
🔥1:1’s - We talking basketball? Let’s run it. I probably won’t play much D, but when I have the ball you can expect some sturdy post moves. If we’re talking about career development, supporting and advocating for team members and lending an ear at work, I'm all for it.
🔥Meetings in General - Less is more! But also I’ve never won this battle so just give me a quick 5 to pee and grab a seltzer and I'll see you at the next one.
